The most important thing to understand about UltraImageCompression is this: all image processing — compression, conversion, background removal (except via third-party API), and watermark removal — happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API.

This means:

• Your images are never uploaded to our servers
• We have no technical ability to access, view, or store your image files
• Compressed or converted images are generated locally in your browser's memory
• Files are deleted from browser memory when you close the tab or click "Start Over"

The only exception is the Background Remover tool, which optionally connects to the remove.bg API using an API key you provide. In that case, images are processed by remove.bg under their own privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate the website. Here is a complete breakdown:

• Log Data: Our web hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and time/date of access. This data is used for security and performance monitoring.
